I can add nginx-unit as an alternative dependency for httpd and php-fpm
in Rainloop once the package is in. I'm hesitant to move httpd or
php-fpm to Recommends instead of Depends since they're required for most
use-cases and the package will not work without an alternative.

Yes, unit is not in official debian repo, but when it will be in, it
will not provide httpd, as it's application server and can be used
together
