Package: rasdaemon Version: 0.6.0-1.2 Severity: important Normally a "please catch up with upstream" bug would have severity wishlist, but in this instance the new release includes patches for several bugs that have seriously inconvenienced me (and possibly discouraged others from using this package). I'm thinking especially of [4bf0b71f] fix file descriptor leak in ras-report.c:setup_report_socket() [e4a8a6c5] parse_ras_data: flush trace buffer immediately, not on next call
Of course the improved hardware support is also likely to be useful, along with all the other less important bug fixes. (E.g., I've been cherry-picking [0a16789f] rasdaemon: fix PCIe AER error type .)
