Hello, I have a fresh Debian10 install with netinstall amd64 ISO without desktop environment, only bash on startup. You need to login with a normal user. Than get root privileges with su (type su), enter password, than display the PATH variable (type echo $PATH). The variable dont switch to root's PATH variable. BYPASS: Read /etc/profile after su (type source /etc/profile). Than it switchs to root's PATH.
