Package: upower Version: 0.99.11-1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
*** Reporter, please consider answering these questions, where appropriate *** * What led up to the situation? I was getting incorrect battery % reporting for Logitech Performance MX and K800 with a unifying reciever from upower. I'm also noticing very fast battery draining. When they used to last over a month, the batteries drain in the matter of a day or so. It is important to note that the batteries are user- replaceable, so there may be a calibration required to get the fully-charged value, however that may be of use in other packages and with other hardware. Here is a link to a forum post with another user that has the same version of upower and the same keyboard. This is a very popular keyboard model. http://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?id=13477 * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I used upower -dump to get information on the devices. to get information on them. upower --dump: Device: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/mouse_hidpp_battery_0 native-path: hidpp_battery_0 model: Performance MX serial: 101a-af-7b-a6-ed power supply: no updated: Sun 05 Jan 2020 10:44:33 AM CST (108 seconds ago) has history: yes has statistics: yes mouse present: yes rechargeable: yes state: discharging warning-level: none battery-level: high percentage: 70% (should be ignored) icon-name: 'battery-good-symbolic' Device: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/keyboard_hidpp_battery_1 native-path: hidpp_battery_1 model: K800 serial: 2010-68-78-58-bf power supply: no updated: Sun 05 Jan 2020 10:46:15 AM CST (6 seconds ago) has history: yes has statistics: yes keyboard present: yes rechargeable: yes state: charging warning-level: low battery-level: low percentage: 10% (should be ignored) icon-name: 'battery-caution-charging-symbolic' Device: /org/freedesktop/UPower/devices/DisplayDevice power supply: no updated: Sun 05 Jan 2020 10:06:33 AM CST (2388 seconds ago) has history: no has statistics: no unknown warning-level: none icon-name: 'battery-missing-symbolic' Daemon: daemon-version: 0.99.11 on-battery: no lid-is-closed: no lid-is-present: no critical-action: HybridSleep * What was the outcome of this action?
