Package: lttng-tools Version: 2.11.0-3 Severity: normal The CONFDIR variable (set from `./configure --sysconfdir=/etc [...]`) is not expanded correctly when building the documentation of the lttng-tools packages. For example, lttng-sessiond(8) claims automatic loading of tracing session configurations from "/usr/local/etc/lttng/sessions/auto". This path should be "/etc/lttng/sessions/auto".
CONFDIR is set as expected when building the actual lttng-sessiond binary (can be seen using `strings` on it and confirmed in actual operation), only the documentation is wrong. I noticed that if I install the asciidoc package before building the lttng-tools package, the problem goes away. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 5.4.0-1-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_US:en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages lttng-tools depends on: ii libc6 2.29-7 ii libkmod2 26-3 ii liblttng-ctl0 2.11.0-3 ii liblttng-ust-ctl4 2.11.0-1 ii libpopt0 1.16-14 ii liburcu6 0.11.1-2 ii libuuid1 2.34-0.1 ii libxml2 2.9.4+dfsg1-8 ii lsb-base 11.1.0 Versions of packages lttng-tools recommends: ii babeltrace 1.5.7-2 Versions of packages lttng-tools suggests: ii lttng-modules-dkms 2.11.0-2 -- no debconf information
