I believe the a upstream version 2.0.1 was just released. It has been more
than 4 years since last maintainer upload; are you still going to maintain
wget2 in Debian? If not, please feel free to let us know so that others can
work on it and package new versions.

Dear maintainers,
are there any recent news on this? I am asking because I would also
