Dear maintainer, since last version of simde, I noticed that bowtie2 fails on ppc64el while it was not on a very similar version before but using 0.0.0.git.20200424-1 (I confirmed that by trying to rebuild bowtie2 2.4.1-4 which now fails) https://buildd.debian.org/status/logs.php?pkg=bowtie2 The error reported is : https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=bowtie2&arch=ppc64el&ver=2.4.1-5&stamp=1590436839&raw=0 I also got it with mmseqs2 . I tried with simde's latest git tree as of 20200526 and it works. I didn't dig more to identify precisely the problem, but you may know as you follow simde's development more closely. Regards, F.
