Dear Debian golang-gosqlite-dev package maintainer, As shown on https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-gosqlite-dev , you are listed as the package maintainer for golang-gosqlite-dev but this package received no maintenance since its initial upload back in 2013. It uses old code from SQLite 2, which is deprecated since 2004 and is due to be removed from Debian (see https://bugs.debian.org/607969 ). Besides, there are some newer alternative to Golang SQLite binding, like https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/golang-github-mattn-go-sqlite3 . I am wondering if you agree that this package (golang-gosqlite-dev) is indeed not necessary anymore and should be removed. Please feel free to let me know your thoughts. If there's no response in the next 14 days, I may consider helping to remove this package from Debian as part of Debian's Quality Assurance effort.
