Bug#980800: djview: No longer accepts a local DjVu document URL

2021-01-22 Thread Barak A. Pearlmutter
Thanks for your report.

I'm reducing the severity to "normal" because it meets the criteria
for that level.
But be assured that I understand it's important to *you* and your
workflow and applications, and I will try to get it fixed asap.

Cheers,

--Barak.

Bug#980800: djview: No longer accepts a local DjVu document URL

2021-01-22 Thread Janusz S. Bień
Package: djview
Version: 3.5.27.1-10
Severity: important

The feature is essential for using and creating indexes like this:

https://github.com/jsbien/Zaborowski-index4djview

Used to work not long ago.

A sample message for an indirect call from djview4poliqarp::

djview: cannot open
'file:Zaborowski_MBC.djvu?djvuopts=&highlight=388,950,128,52&page=1'.

And an example of an explicit invocation:

djview file:///Zaborowski_MBC.djvu?djvuopts=&highlight=388,950,128,52&page=1
djview: cannot open 'file:///Zaborowski_MBC.djvu?djvuopts='.

Best regards

Janusz
