Hi. It seems dialog has some advantages over whiptail, e.g.: - ncurses is more likely to be installed rather than libnewt (thus less dependencies for dialog) similarly, more packages seem to support only dialog than only whiptal - it redraws when then terminal window chances in size - one can use to mouse to click buttons/etc. So perhaps it makes sense to prefer that in the dependecies of the package and when chosing either of the two when both are installed?
