Comments/Problems:

On cinnamon DI from the live image disk with speech synthesis, the screen 
reader was on on the login screen, but once logged in, the screen reader was 
not on and had to be turned on manually from the applications menu. This was 
also the case on amd64 netinst. Looks like a bug in Cinnamon, as other DEs 
tested did not seem to do the same thing.
