right now in Debian we have to disable all python plugins temporarily.
We will bring those plugins back when gimp-python3 is available.


Please remove resynthesizer from the package description and from 
Provides until this is fixed.

Hi,

Yes, we ported that plugin to Python3.
However, gimp in Debian is too old.
There was a package called gimp-python which is python2 and got removed.
Thus right now in Debian we have to disable all python plugins temporarily.
We will bring those plugins back when gimp-python3 is available.

Even more, the current 20200927 version claims in the changelog that
resynthesizer was ported to python3, but its missing entirely.
