Bug#994564: RFS: sosreport/4.2-1 -- Set of tools to gather troubleshooting data from a system

2021-10-22 Thread Bastian Germann
Hi Eric, I would take a look and maybe sponsor sosreport if you bring the git into sync with the currently released 4.0-2. Adding your 4.2-1 changes on top would also be nice, especially if it is not a bulk commit. Thanks, Bastian

For the configuration file misplace /etc/sos/sos.conf (GOOD) vs /usr/config/sos.conf (BAD) This should do the trick. override_dh_install: # copy config file to the right location mv debian/sosreport/usr/config/sos.conf debian/sosreport/etc/sos/sos.conf # remove unnecessary

* [sos.conf] The right configuration location is in '/etc/sos' and the package contains it. I'll look at why and how the package ends up having '/usr/config/sos.conf' too: # dpkg -l sosreport Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold |
