what should work on every arch is:
apt-get install linux-headers-2.6.32
which should resolve (in most cases) to the correct headers.

powersave seems to improve resuming from hibernate.
Try modifying conf file:
/etc/modprobe.d/i915-kms.conf
From:
options i915 modeset=1
To:

as figured out the problem here is if a group called vboxusers exists as
non-system group. Then the following command will fail with the following
error msg (removed the --quiet):
addgroup: The group `vboxusers' already exists and is not a system group.
