This appears to have been fixed a long time ago by changing the sed
command to use ',' instead of '/' as the sed delimiter. Please test
any version after 2.15. If we don't hear anything, we'll close this

I updated Icedove to the last version available on Debian Testing and I
have a segfault on startup.
The only workaround I have found, is to restart in safemode (icedove
--safe-mode) and disable the Iceowl extension.

I think this bug is probably the same authentication issue that resulted
in this upstream patch:
It is technically not part of the CVE fix, but is needed to let certain
auth configuration to coninue working once the fix is in place.
