Colin seems to have brought up a similar issue with the dh

maintainer has committed the patch to vcs and is planning to upload
it. So the PTS doesn't list the patch in the TODO section, the BTS
moves bugs tagged pending to the bottom of the list as they are no
longer interesting to the maintainer, etc...

I've prepared a new update for notify-osd which re-adds "Provides:
notification-daemon" to debian/control. See #659124
You can grab it from bzr+ssh://bzr.debian.org/bzr/pkg-ayatana/notify-osd/debian/

hoping that 0.9.32-1 would build here as it builds on Ubuntu armel:

Debdiff fixing this issue attached. Here's the patch added:
Description: Wrap import of GStreamer in a try/except.
The VideoPlayerGtk3 class does not actually seem to be used anywhere, so we
can safely not import GStreamer.

The one big change is the addition of indicator support, so
unfortunately that means we'll be carrying a delta in Ubuntu so that
we don't end up with a dependency on libappindicator0.1-cil on Debian.
