I use HTML Validator 0.7.9.5 on Firefox Debian-1.5.dfsg+1.5.0.7-2
(Testing).
After some cleanup of unused libraries, I get the same
trouble: HTML validator not able to run anymore.
After reinstalling libstdc++5, all works fine again.
Hope it help.

It looks like email-reminder user has not sufficient rights to
run /usr/bin/lsb_release without error but currently I did not see why.

Finally get the time to make serious trial with 2.6.32-3-686.
I get black screen at X server start up if I remove "i915.modeset=0"
from GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet i915.modeset=0"
in /etc/default/grub
So I get back to that workaround.
Thanks
