I had installed python2.2 explicitly before installing python; when
purging all python packages (python2.2, python, python2.3,
python2.3-iconvcodec) and reinstalling python alone then site.py
existed. So this isn't RC, but it was annoying.

I think the right solution is to make it a constrained depends on ~kFreeBSD
systems, because I'm pretty sure it doesn't work without iproute on Linux.
(My memory is weak in this area though.)
