By the way, it's great seeing Debian patches being adopted by upstream,

Hello,
I enabled the service and restarted the laptop, it was started as expected,
but not restarted after suspending, which results in APM levels to not be
restored as I feared. However, sometimes it is not reset (or at least
that's what I think is happening).
I am willing to test a deb package,

Hi,
after scouring the web a bit, I found a workaround:
echo 0 > /sys/power/pm_async
This makes the suspending and resuming process synchronous and solved the
race issue in the disk drivers.

Hello,
I'd like to point out that udevil and SpaceFM are not dead anymore, just
developed at a slower pace, but it is maintained and fixed when needed.

BTW, as this is a simple fix I'd like to request that this be fixed in

Sorry to have reported this just one day late.
Jessie-backports will do, security is not appropriate for this IMHO.
Or is there some other channel for trivial fixes that cannot break anything?
It could at least get into a point release.
Thank you for your effort.

if I'm not mistaken, this bug, or rather the current "solution" with

Dear Maintainer,

Thank you for the clarification.
Perhaps the tutorials and information on the internet misrepresent this
setup. But it seemed like it worked for other people, xinerama connects the
two screens and RANDR advertises the 2 "physical" outputs.
I tried to use disabled xinerama
Xephyr -screen 960x540+0+
In that case I suppose this bug can be closed as invalid.
Would you have any suggestion on how to achieve this using some other
virtual nesting server? I briefly tried Xdmx to connect two Xephyr
displays/screens (not sure about the terminology), but that segfaulted and
probably didn't do what I wa
