This is a normal library transition. Why didn't you coordinate it with
the Release Team as usual before the upload?

and autopkgtest spots a build issue with the package normaliz:

Build issue? "32s autopkgtest [15:05:58]: build not needed"
So I guess you mean an install issue. Do you have any idea why? (I'm
seeing a "Conflicts: libeantic-dev" in bin:libeantic-dev which looks
weird to me (it may be right, I just don't immediately understand the
use case). Might it be that apt gets confused?)

rebuilding the package against libeantic3 causes not problem (and solve the
issue).

Sure, it's on our radar:
https://release.debian.org/transitions/html/auto-e-antic.html Why didn't
you also request the polymake rebuild?

Dear Release Team,

the upload of e-antic 2.0.2+ds-1 came with a shift of its SONAME from 1 to 3,
and autopkgtest spots a build issue with the package normaliz:
rebuilding the package against libeantic3 causes not problem (and solve the
issue).

Cheers,
Jerome
