Above mail mentions unshare being used on buildds, including this note:

"In addition this blocks any network access during the build as per Debian 
policy 4.9."

I bet that would rule out *any* auto tests that rely on network access as 
*any* network access would likely apply to access to local host as well. 
However, policy says different:

"Except for packages in the non-free archive with the Autobuild control 
field unset or set to no, required targets must not attempt network access, 
except, via the loopback interface, to services on the build host that 
have been started by the build."

Hey,

Yeah the test need to create a port and connect to it. As i also use sbuild 
locally I thought okay, it still works. Do the buildds not even allow to 
access to localhost?
