Bug#352368: gnat-gps: AMD64 port?
Hi J??rome, The good news is that I'm almost finished with the packaging of libgtkada2 2.8.1; gnat-gps is next in my priority list. The bad news is that I'm out of ADSL until Sept 11 at least, possibly a few days after that. I'll upload in september. -- Ludovic Brenta.

Bug#352368: gnat-gps: AMD64 port?
Hi Ludovic, I wanted to give GPS a try but I realized it was not available on amd64. Could you please add it to the architecture list please, so it gets build on amd64? At least, the sooner we find problems with it, the better for etch. It dependencies (like gtkada2) will have to be built for amd64 as well (I tried to build gtkada2 but #380587 stuck me). Thanks in advance! -- Jérôme Marant

I presume it'll be possible to run it in the 32-bit chroot jail, and that's what I'm going to try next; but it'd be nice to not have to. I used it a lot on my previous machine and would like to again. I plan to transition all Ada packages to gcc-4.1. In theory, this will make it possible to support amd64. In practice, I don't have access to such a machine, so I will rely on users to provide testing and any necessary patches. The transition should take place in time for Etch, but will probably take several months to complete. Your help will be appreciated. -- Ludovic Brenta. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of unsubscribe. Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
