Bug#493492: FTBFS: Unknown architecture: Check singuname.sh

This singuname check does seem pretty horrible.

 (A) making the makefiles do different things on windows/osx
 (B) testing whether the system uses ELF
 (C) a few old compatability checks

I'll upload a minimal fix that just sets the SINGUNAME to Unknown-Linux
for Linux versions that Singular doesn't understand for now, since I think
that will fix the build problems.

kfreebsd* and hurd will probably work with that too:

http://buildd.debian-ports.org/status/package.php?p=singular

ie. both use ELF.

I'll also contact upstream about improving the situation to test for ELF
support and these other features directly in future releases.

Thanks.

 Thanks for the report,
