I made the requested change. Unless there are further change requests I
will push this package to mentors.debian.org and put in an RFS.

Thanks for the input Ben,

"dockable clock applet for various window managers"

I asked the developer of this and he said that this sounds good. Thanks
for the recommendation.

Okay, then I would recommend not mentioning “dock” in the synopsis.

What about:

low-footprint clock applet for various window managers

An alternatives to “low-footprint” might be “low-resource”.

Right. The synopsis needs to be a lot more succinct.

(Presumably, “dockable clock in a light weight window manager” would
be the synopsis.)

That's an improvement, but it doesn't read well to me. It sounds like
the package is a clock in a window manager; i.e. it is both clock
*and* window manager.

Do you need to qualify the window manager with “light weight”? I get
the impression that it should work in any window manager that supports
docking.

Is the term “applet” applicable? How about:

dockable clock applet for various window managers

Please follow the “best packaging practices” for any package synopsis
http://www.debian.org/doc/developers-reference/best-pkging-practices.html#bpp-pkg-synopsis>.

In this case, the synopsis should be a noun phrase; not a complete
sentence, and certainly not two sentences. The synopsis should be
written such that can be inserted into a sentence of
the form “ is a .”

I suggest:

clock for the dock in a window manager
