Bug#596935: backupninja: ldap backup failed with new ldiff-style slapd config

thanks

proposed workaround:
- link slapd.conf to slapd.conf.old such that backupninja works.
- In the fixed backupninja debian package, check if both
slapd.conf and slapd.d/ exist, ask user if he wants to backup
  and remove the old slapd.conf.

Bug#596935: backupninja: ldap backup failed with new ldiff-style slapd config

2010-09-15 Thread Zaar Hai
Package: backupninja
Version: 0.9.7-5
Severity: important

Since recent change in slapd package, it switched to ldiff style
configuration for slapd. Since backupninja ldap method requires
slapd.conf to exist, backing up ldap failed whining about missing
slapd.conf.

Thanks.
