That's fine any I was more caring for the team maintenance issue than
the minor version upgrade. Waiting for this reason is fair, however, I
decided to start upgrading our packages now because chances for problems
that late are quite low and there is always testing-proposed-updates in
case of a problem.

That said, if you're keen on taking the package over and have a team a
people behind it, I'm certainly not opposed to it.

I might commit changes to SVN until next weekend and ping you for a
review. If you are fine with this I might upload.

Kind regards and thanks for your work on workrave

Andreas.

Hi Andreas,

I was waiting for Squeeze to be released before upgrading to the latest
upstream version in case I need to push a last minute update to squeeze.

That said, if you're keen on taking the package over and have a team a
people behind it, I'm certainly not opposed to it.

Cheers,
Francois

Bug#598222: Maintaining workrave in Debian Med team?

2010-11-24 Thread Andreas Tille
Hi Francois,

as you can see at

   http://debian-med.alioth.debian.org/tasks/tools#workrave

we included workrave in our tasks and thus the Debian Med team would
like to keep this package up to date. If you are interested in team
maintenance (keeping the packaging in SVN, accepting other team members
as uploaders, following a group policy in packaging) I would volunteer
to adapt the current packaging of workrave to our policy and inject it
into SVN. I would also volunteer to update it to the latest upstream
(= close #598222).

What do you think?

Kind regards and thanks for maintaining workrave in any case

 Andreas.
