There will be an ABI/API freeze around end of June / beginning of July 2016 for FreeRDP 2.0 and then there will also be a 2.0~rc1 upstream release. We (the people caring for Debian's freerdp package) will wait until then and then go the usual transition path for freerdp. I will close this bug now, because there won't be a freerdp2 package.
