Actually you reported three issues into one, that is not an appropriate way to do reports. In regards of exact issue. Wrapping is done by the desktop manager in an obvious reason - the text does not fit into default space under the icon. There are two solutions for that: - decrease desktop font size (currently: Sans 12, in desktop config); - increase desktop cell size (currently: 100 pt, in pcmanfm sources). Note that in case of default font size we can change only value applied to newly created users or after ~/.config/pcmanfm reset. In other cases only manual changes may be applied.
