2016-10-15 Thread Reimar Döffinger
I updated the debian/ files so a new package can be built.
See attached diff.gz.
Still needs someone to submit it though.

Bug#835296: iec16022: Data loss in encoded barcode

2016-08-24 Thread Michael Heimpold
Package: iec16022
Version: 0.2.4-1.1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

we recently found an important bug within the library code of iec16022
which might result in data loss within the encoded string.
As this bug is present in the library part 'libiec16022', this bug
also affects glabels and possible other packages using it.

For bug details, please refer to the upstream project, where the
bug is fixed meanswhile:
https://github.com/rdoeffinger/iec16022/issues/2

Upstream published a bugfix release 0.2.7, please consider upgrading the
Debian package to the new upstream version.

Please also note, that previous upstream maintainer retired and also
the original project homepage. However, the upstream code is now
available via GitHub and a new maintainer cares about patches etc.

Best regards,
Michael Heimpold
