Dear Maintainer,

aside of the wnck-applet notifications, I see clock-applet notifications
in the same vein:

Bug#836994: mate-panel: get wnck-applet underallocation notification all the time in journalctl

2016-09-17 Thread Julian
Package: mate-panel
Version: 1.14.2-1
Followup-For: Bug #836994

Hi,

this is not just about the wnck-applet, others (like the clock-applet) produce
the same error messages.
I guess they're triggered when the applet is being repainted, for example
because a cursor is moved within their region. Also changes on the panel itself
(like starting a new applet) triggers those error messages.

There was a launchpad bug report a few years ago, maybe this might help:

Bug#836994: mate-panel: get wnck-applet underallocation notification all the time in journalctl

2016-09-07 Thread shirish शिरीष
Package: mate-panel
Version: 1.14.2-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

Was running journalctl -f to see something else and came across the following -

Sep 08 02:58:25 debian wnck-applet[4205]: gtk_widget_size_allocate():
attempt to underallocate WnckTasklist's child GtkToggleButton
0x55a558d23e40. Allocation is 235x24, but minimum required size is
56x28.

However bigger I do the size allocation, it still is less. Hopefully
something can be done to fix it.
