Bug#837082: mirror submission for mirrors.wikimedia.org

2016-09-17 Thread Faidon Liambotis
Donald,

Thanks. Considering the size and connectivity of our mirror, would it be
useful to add our mirror to the ftp.us rotation? What would you need for
us?

Thanks,
Faidon

Comment: Newly procured dedicated mirror box. Currently mirroring Debian,
Ubuntu and Tails; ~8-9TB of disk space still free. Lots of RAM, HW RAID, 10Gbps
NIC, connected on the multi-10G Wikimedia backbone with no restrictions.
Operated by the Wikimedia operations team, with 4 DDs among it (Faidon
Liambotis, Filippo Giunchendi, Moritz Mühlenhoff, Emanuele Rocca). Public
stats.

Currently not a push mirror -- I'd like your help on that. Also no FTP (is it
still needed? weasel said no) and no rsync right now. We're also not mirroring
debian-cd/debian-archive at the moment, unsure how to do that yet.

Happy to do all of the above and/or more if needed, as long as it makes sense
for Debian. Ping me on IRC (paravoid) for anything.
