In #837095 you said: "Help is always welcome. Would you like to
co-maintain the package together? The latest 7.3.4 has been uploaded
to Git, so we can start from there."

No, no, no.

Your intent is clear for me: you want have lots of packages in your
name and some people working hard to maintain then for you. Debian
Project needs volunteers for Debian Project, not to work for you. Some
years ago, several people criticized you because of scary number of
the packages outside a team (in a NM message). The current result: 79
abandoned packages.

I am worried with two important packages for me (blhc and dos2unix)
that are abandoned. I can adopt it but I don't want work for you.

Please, forget this idea. If you want, I can help you using one of the
following actions:

- Adopting blhc and dos2unix or;
- Sponsoring these and some other packages for you (not 79!).

However, I stongly recommend that you make orphan half or more of your
packages and take care correctly of the remainer. If you don't have
conditions to maintain packages, make all your packages orphan.
Please, avoid to be a MIA with lots of packages in your hands and
avoid to prejudice the project.

Eriberto

Hi Eriberto,

Help is always welcome and thank for taking the action as I'm on LowNMU list.
I can make the package co-maintained if you are interested.

The package is maintained in collab-maint and is using pristine-tar +
gbp buildpackage infrastructure. We'd need to import your current NMU
there to start.

Package: blhc
Severity: wishlist

Hi Jari,

blhc has no uploads from you since 2014. blhc is a very important tool for
packaging debug.

I have interest in maintain blhc (and also dos2unix) in Debian. Please, let
me to know what you think about it.
