I was having this issue with 3.20.1-1 as well, but some time in the last 48 hours it's come good again.
I noticed that I'm running gnome-screenshot 3.22.0-1 now, and various gnome libs have upgraded to 3.22 as well - presumably one of those upgrades has helped.
