I am still experiencing this issue with 2.22.0-3 when using
gnome-flashback.
Sam (Morris), are you too?
AFAICS it does not happen with a normal gnome-session.
Do you have any suggestion about how I can verify

gdm3, and I should have mentioned that I'm using the gnome-flashback
session.
