Keep us posted, sid and buster now have 1.26 so it should be fixed there.

It looks to me like upstream commit 
robert.anc...@canonical.com-20170213034648-wvwh9evai55o7sm5, first released in 
lightdm 1.21.4, should adequately address this (by retrying the system call on 
EINTR). Am cherry-picking this into 1.18.3, will test then tag this bug 
accordingly.

I see these messages in the logs :

lightdm[3386]: Error using VT_WAITACTIVE 7 on /dev/tty0: Interrupted system call

It seems that they appears some weeks ago. I update my system at least
every week and very often every day.

My machine is concerned by the bug #773743 and the message arrive when
there is a try to enter "suspend mode".
