I believe  should address
this. I will work on getting it uploaded shortly.

Dear Maintainer,

Currently, with MariaDB installed, apt's default behaviour upon
installing mediawiki is to propose removal of mariadb-server and
installation of mysql-server. MediaWiki being officially compatible with
MariaDB [1], I believe the recommends should be:

  mariadb-server | mysql-server | postgresql-contrib

instead of the current:

  mysql-server | postgresql-contrib
