Package: printer-driver-ptouch Version: 1.4.2-2+b1 Severity: normal Dear Maintainer,
I have a Brother P-touch QL-550 label printer, and it works just fine when printing to 12 mm wide labels (from a continuous roll). However, if I print on 62 mm wide labels (also from continuous roll), the printer just blinks its LED at 1-2 Hertz. That's with the 1.4.2-2+b1 version of the package, from stretch. If I downgrade the package to 1.3-8, printing works for 62 mm wide labels, and also 12 mm labels. With 1.4-1 printing doesn't work, so it looks like 1.3-8 from snapshot.debian.net is the newest version that works. -- System Information: Debian Release: 9.1 APT prefers stable APT policy: (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 4.9.0-3-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) Versions of packages printer-driver-ptouch depends on: ii ghostscript 9.20~dfsg-3.2 ii libc6 2.24-11+deb9u1 ii libcups2 2.2.1-8 ii libcupsimage2 2.2.1-8 ii python3 3.5.3-1 ii xz-utils 5.2.2-1.2+b1 printer-driver-ptouch recommends no packages. printer-driver-ptouch suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
