2018-04-05 Thread johnw
Hi Michael,

I found out, what cause the problem,
I have this line in fstab
"proc /proc proc rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime,hidepid=2,gid=4
0   0"

I changed it to
"proc /proc proc rw,nosuid,nodev,noexec,relatime,hidepid=2    0   0"
(without gid=4), then the problem is gone.

Thank you.

Can you try creating a new user and trying to log in as that user? There might
be something going on with your specific user configuration (do you have any
user units in ~/.config/systemd/user?).

Is see that the autopkgtest for logind fails as well:

No, I tried lightdm lxdm, they have same problem,
I tried gdm3, but can not login, do not why, the screen just become to
blank/black.

Any idea, how to debug?

Thanks.

Please provide the output of
systemctl status
journalctl -alb (as root)

Have you rebooted after the upgrade?
