The default behaviour will be to check the package names, also if the
new variable is not set.

You don't have an existing naming schema for that?

I would go for the later, or you decide that all variables should have
FAI as prefix.

This is my first idea for a fix.

Adding a new variable, which can be defined in class/*.var or defined
before calling fai-diskimage. This will then disable then ckeck inside
install_packages for unknown package names. I have two proposals for
variable names:

FAI_PACKAGE_NAME_CHECK=0
or
DISABLE_PACKAGE_NAME_CHECK=1

Which variable name is better? Do you have any better name?
If the variable is not set at all, the default will be to check the
variable names.

Any opinions?
