Please keep the bug report in CC. I only know that the latest version works and I didn't bother to investigate this issue on Jessie because games will be unsupported there very soon. I haven't tested the Jessie version though. Jessie games are unsupported in Debian LTS, therefore I suggest to upgrade to a newer version which will most likely address your issue.
