Package: gnome-shell Version: 3.28.0-1+b1 Severity: minor Hi,
I'm not quite sure about which Gnome (or Wayland) component is the cause of this, feel free to reassign as appropriate of course. With Gnome on Wayland session (now the default) and Night Light mode, the cursor in unaffected by the change in color temperature, which gives it a bright blue aspect that makes it eye-catching. This is a known problem with redshift, for which the fix is to force software cursor in Xorg configuration. "Gnome on Xorg" session seems to do this automatically, because the cursor's color temperature is the same as the rest of the screen, without needing to modify Xorg configuration; "Gnome on Wayland" doesn't. Switching to "Gnome on Xorg" session gets rid of the problem. Regards, -- Raphaël Halimi
