Ah, *that* one. I was looking at the debian changelog.

4.1-6 will have that fixed.

Are you sure you decompressed that before checking? That file contains 
only plain ASCII (after decompression via zcat or gzip -d).

Thanks for your reply. I reported this one on stable I think, not the
latest version apparently. Now I have double checked it with
https://packages.debian.org/sid/all/wbulgarian/download and only
usr/share/doc/wbulgarian/changelog.gz is not yet UTF-8. Most of the
character are unreadable at the moment. the rest is already fine.

It is in cp1251, not ISO-8859-x, but yeah, using UTF-8 would be 
better.

It already is (since 2005) as well as the rest of the files in 
/usr/share/doc/wbulgarian. Am I missing something?
