Package: shush Version: 1.2.3-5+b2 Severity: important Dear Maintainer,
I noticed that recent upgrade of shush (from 1.2.3-5 to 1.2.3-5+b2) somehow prevents shush from sending mail. I have some shush configuration files (for backup jobs) that I regularly run each night via cron. After I upgraded shush yesterday, the mail reports didn't arrive any more, which was odd. So I manually ran shush with the same configuration file, and this interesting bit of output showed up: > shush: execv(NOSENDMAIL): No such file or directory > shush encountered the following error(s) while running > "duply-rootfs.conf" on host fik: > > The impossible just happened: line 51 in file exec.c was reached! > shush encountered the following error(s) while running > "duply-rootfs.conf" on host fik: > > sendmail for report "success" died from Aborted If I simply rebuild the shush package from its source (via apt-get source, and dpkg-buildpackage), the issue goes away; shush sends the report via email as it is supposed to do. -- System Information: Debian Release: bullseye/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (990, 'unstable'), (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 4.19.0-5-amd64 (SMP w/6 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=sl_SI.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled Versions of packages shush depends on: ii libc6 2.28-10 ii libpcre3 2:8.39-12+b1 shush recommends no packages. shush suggests no packages. -- no debconf information
