Should we binNMU the following packages now then? orage, workrave, xfce4-cpugraph-plugin, xfce4-equake-plugin, xfce4-mailwatch-plugin Thanks, ~Niels

I'm a bit surprised we have so few libxfce4panel-1.0 dependencies left, but that's nice. place and weather plugins will have a sourceful upload bumping them to libxfce4panel-2.0 so they'll disappear from the list. I'm still a bit unsure about the behavior of libxfce4panel-2.0 4.14 plugins when they're loaded in a 4.12 panel, but they shouldn't require a binNMU anyway. Bug#934996: transition: xfce4-panel
Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian@packages.debian.org Usertags: transition the Xfce team would like to upload the Xfce 4.14 release to unstable (most packages pre-release have been uploaded to experimental). Panel plugins might have a tight dependency to the panel they've been built with, so a while back we added shlibs dependencies to the major version of the panel the plugins have been built with. So panel plugins built against xfce4-panel 4.12 have a dependency on: xfce4-panel (>= 4.11), xfce4-panel (<< 4.13) and panel plugins built against 4.14 will have: xfce4-panel (>= 4.13), xfce4-panel (<< 4.15) After uploading xfce4-panel 4.14, we'll have to schedule binNMus of panel plugins without sourceful upload. Please authorize us to upload the new xfce4-panel version so we can proceed with the rest of the Xfce 4.14 uploads. I'm not sure I can provide a ben file since it's not a standard library transition.
