Hi,

it seems that something in the autopkgtest or the build deps is
incorrect:

which hangs in creating the tcrm fonts:

This is METAFONT, Version 2.7182818 (TeX Live 2019/Debian) (preloaded 
base=mf)

! I can't find file `tcrm1200'.

You need to add 
texlive-fonts-recommended
to the build deps.
