That would be helpful, thanks; I'm not sure I ever obtained such
permissions. At the moment, a mipsel toolchain error is blocking
migration; I'll see what I can do about that.

No problem.

Feel free to ping me once the package is in testing an a backport
is possible. I have permissions to do backports and I'd volunteer
to upload if you have no such permissions.

Thank you for your work on this

A release inbuster-backports would be fine for me.
Whatever it is ok now that I have rebuilt it from source applying the same
change in the debian/rules file. Finally it is working.

Thanks again,

2020-02-17 Thread Aaron M. Ucko
That's a fair request. From a technical perspective, it should be
straightforward (the same change should work there), but I'll need to
get official approval from the Release Team. There's also a version of
ncbi-blast+ in buster-backports that I should be able to fix more
readily, but I can understand if you'd rather leave backports alone.

Thanks for asking, and sorry you ran into trouble here.

Bug#951280: fixed in ncbi-blast+ 2.9.0-4

2020-02-17 Thread Patrice Duroux

Hi,

Thanks for the work.
But is there any plan to solve it for ncbi-blast+ in Buster for which the bug
report was addressed initially?
Do I have to mix Buster / Sid on my system?

Thanks,
Patrice
