Dear maintainers, With a recent upload of php-apcu the autopkgtest of php-doctrine-cache fails in testing when that autopkgtest is run with the binary packages of php-apcu from unstable. It passes when run with only packages from testing. In tabular form: pass fail php-apcu from testing 5.1.18+4.0.11-1 php-doctrine-cache from testing 1.10.0-3 all others from testing from testing I copied some of the output at the bottom of this report. As php-apcu is part of the php7.4 transition, I wouldn't be surprised if this failure is due to a missing (versioned) (test) dependency somewhere, and the test is mixing and matching php7 versions (both php7.3 and php7.4 are installed in the test). Currently this regression is blocking the migration of php-apcu to testing [1]. Due to the nature of this issue, I filed this bug report against both packages. Can you please investigate the situation and reassign the bug to the right package? There is a bug (#953727) with the same symptoms filed against php-codecoverage and xdebug. The underlying issue may be the same.
