Sorry about the noise! And I hadn't seen the reassign before sending my mail, sorry for the noise as well! This looks to me like nginx-common.config and debconf have an issue (or stumble over some underlying issue), I don't see anything about lintian or libconfig-model-dpkg-perl (whether its lintian profiles nor anything else) here, and I also have no idea how they would be involved when configuring a package. Maybe you could explain why you think libconfig-model-dpkg-perl might be invvolved? 'cme dpkg' is not called during nginx installation (there's no dependency declared in nginx's control file). 'cme dpkg' is designed to be used only with package files in source repository to check or modify package files. As far as I know, lcdproc is the only package using cme during package installation (in postinst script) to update lcdproc configuration. Hope this helps Dod

Package: libconfig-model-dpkg-perl Severity: important Hi, On a stable with backports enabled, I cannot install nginx due to the error below. It could be related to one of my changes to Lintian profiles [1], although looking at the code I do not immediately see how. Would someone please provide a backport for libconfig-model-dpkg-perl (if that is indeed the right solution)? Thank you!
