Same problem on x86_64 after today's chromium update to version 83.0.4103.116-1~deb10u1. Basically looks like it's the javascript engine to blame, as even the developer console is almost unusable on a simple html page that otherwise loads perfectly. Enabling / disabling HW acceleration
