The clz.h message is just a warning. The cast is the problem.
But while at it, you should get rid of the warning by using
__builtin_clz.

Links in /usr/lib/jvm/java-gcj point to
/usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.0.3/include/ while the directory provided
by libgcj6-dev is /usr/lib/gcc/i486-linux-gnu/4.0.4/include/
That makes packages using
FWIW, rebuilding the package is enough. It would be sane to have better
dependency on libgcj6-dev
